How Do I Book an Event / Birthday Party?

WOW Kids Playground offers several party packages and options to fit your needs and budget. All parties must be booked in advance.

There are four different ways to book an event:

1) In Person (you are welcome to take a tour)

What Are Your Deposit/Cancellation Policies?

Cancellation Policy

In the event the Party Host cancels prior to the initial arrival date of the event, WOW Kids Playground will necessarily incur damages including, but not limited to, turning away other groups events and the ancillary revenue associated with those events. The Party Host shall have the right to cancel the party, without cause, upon written notification to WOW Kids Playground at any time prior to the party and upon the payment of the amount expressed below:

Cancellation notice received 14 days PRIOR to event date
Cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of total booking amount

Cancellation notice received 14 days AFTER to event date or no shows
Cancellation fee equivalent to full contracted value of the event.

Deposit Policy

Parties are reserved and confirmed with a non-refundable $200 deposit (Basic Package) or $400 deposit (Premier Package). Deposit for Ultimate Package varies. The balance is due at check-in on the day of the party.  Rescheduling is possible, when available.  We will need to receive final details including the total number of guests and changes by 72 hours prior to your party’s start time.

If Some of My Guests Do Not Show Up, Can I Get a Partial Refund?

We are unable to do any partial refund if the number of guests falls below the confirmed number.

Do the Participants Include the Birthday Guest of Honor?

Yes, any child guest attending the party counts towards the 15. This includes the birthday party child.

What is the Normal Party Itinerary?

Each party event follows a 3-hour itinerary. Every party includes a 2-hour private party room session where you have free access to the assigned party room or the playground and 1-hour after party free play in the playground.

Check-in 15 minutes early with your guests to sign waivers, receive wristbands, arcade game cards, vouchers & grip socks.

Have guests sign waivers online to avoid waiting in line. A QR scan code is at the bottom of this page. A cart is available for you to bring your items down to the party room. Party starts promptly on the hour.

Let’s start playing! Children and adults will have access to all features in the playground during the 3-hour session.

Your private party room is available for your party celebration, cake, food and presents. Guests are free to come in and out of the party room.

Within the 2-hour private room session, all the children & adults are gathered to the party room for cake cutting and singing Happy Birthday.

Your party host will be working alongside you and your guests to make sure everything runs smoothly, and that your party experience is WOW.

Party room duration is two hours. You will be required to clear out of the party room or pay extra to stay longer, if available.

What if My Guests Arrive Late?

The party sessions are fixed. We encourage you to remind your guests to arrive promptly at the stipulated time as there will be no extension of party time if guests arrive late.

Can I Bring My Own Food and Drinks? And What Are or Aren’t Allowed?

Good food and drinks can make a lasting impression on guests who will associate your event with positive memories. At WOW Kids Playground, we have all the essential amenities to host the perfect party.

You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks, EXCEPT for alcoholic beverages and ice cream cakes. The playground has no alcoholic license, and we wish to keep a children-friendly environment. We do not have extra freezers to keep the ice cream from melting, and we do not allow outside coolers.

Can I Bring a Cake in Without Booking a Party?

No. Only reserved parties are allowed to bring in a celebratory dessert.

My Child or Guests Have Special Medical Needs. Do You Make Exceptions for Food If We Bring in Their Special Needs?

Yes, if your child has special needs, please let us know upon booking your party so that we can make the appropriate accommodations and inform your Party Attendant.

Can I Customize My Party Package?

Make your special event extra special. Each party package already has a predetermined set of features & price. However, you can make your special event extra special by booking the Ultimate Package. Ask our Party Representatives for more details.

Can I Bring Decorations for My Party?

Parties come with a standard or themed set of decorations, which include a tablecloth, plates, napkins, & plasticware, depending on which party package you choose. You are welcome to bring your own decorations for your child’s party if necessary. But please no decoration on the walls to avoid wall paint damages. In addition, no glitter, confetti, silly string or pinatas! Please take away your decorations when the party is over.

Do We Get a Party Attendant/Host with Our Party Package?

Yes, a party attendant/host will take care of everything you need for an unforgettable event.  Party attendants will do everything to make your party run smoothly, including set-up, clean-up, serve pizza, food, cake and drinks, and sing Happy Birthday.

Is Gratuity Included in a Birthday Party? Should I Tip the Party Attendants?

Charges will be based on actual consumption plus 18% gratuity the day of the event. Per California State law, the mandatory 18% gratuity is taxable, while a voluntary gratuity is not taxable. Thud, the final event invoice will automatically include the 18% gratuity. However, if you feel the service was exceptional, you are welcome to tip additionally. You may directly give this extra tip to our party staff or see us at the front counter. All additional gratuities go back to our party staff.

How Old Do I Have to Be to Have My Event / Birthday Party at WOW Kids Playground?

All ages are welcome. WOW Kids Playground is the perfect venue for Birthday Parties, School Parties, Church Parties, Fundraisers, Baby Showers, Graduations, Family Events, Team Celebrations, Bar Mitzvahs, Christmas Parties, Easter Parties, Halloween Parties, New Years Eve Parties, Company Parties, & Community Events just to name a few.

Do You Have Invitations?

No. You will need to provide your own invitations. You can use an invitation service like Evite, which provides a free & an upgraded paid premium version invitation e-cards.

Do You Do Parties on Weekdays?

Yes!  We do parties 7 days a week.  Our weekday party rates are lower than weekend rates, with the exception if a Holiday day we observe lands on a weekday (Mon.-Fri.), then that Holiday will be subjected to the Weekend/Holiday rates schedule. What Is the Etiquette on Opening Birthday Presents?

Who would think that a child’s birthday party could generate such an etiquette question? Gifts are an important part of a child’s birthday.   Experts encourage children to open gifts at home to avoid making some guests uncomfortable and prevent damages to the gifts.  With limited time, kids would rather be upstairs playing.
